Essential and optional storage

Guestmark uses essential storage for functions such as the cart, secure uploads and remembering your cookie choice. Guestmark Analytics is activated only after you allow analytics.

You can refuse analytics without blocking the normal website, catalogue, cart or request forms. You can reopen your choice later through Cookies in the footer.

Guestmark Analytics

After consent, Guestmark measures first-party page views, clicks on links and buttons, active visit time, scroll milestones, product views, cart actions, checkout starts, purchase conversion, source, device category, browser, operating system and language.

For location, only available coarse geolocation is used, such as country and possibly region or city. The raw IP address is not stored in the analytics database. Form contents, entered text, payment details and uploaded files are not recorded as analytics events.

The default retention period for sessions and events is 90 days and can be managed by Guestmark. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are respected by the analytics layer.

Marketing

Marketing tracking is off by default. Only if separate consent is given and a marketing integration is later enabled may that integration be loaded.
